In the pictures, you will see our famous stick bug. It disguises itself like a stick. Of course, this fools most of its natural predators. We also have huge grasshoppers. Another bug disguises itself like a leaf. And how about the monster tarantula? Beauty! There are also the ever present tiny little ants that you can barely see. They manage to find any food you leave about and do a great job of cleaning it up by advising the whole colony where the food lies. And who can ignore the huge variety of butterflies. They make a habit of fluttering through our yard.
