The oceans on each coast of Costa Rica are not unlike a huge ocean zoo. The waters team with an amazing selection. Fishing boats leave from the port village of Garza which is only minutes away. The cost is more than reasonable and the chances are you will bring home some food for dinner.
All of these pictures we have taken ourselves of some of our fishing expeditions. We have seen turtles, sea snakes, tuna, whale sharks, marlin, swordfish in addition to a host of varieties known only to the locals. Some of these are edible and some are not. Listen carefully to your captain here. Also, for marlin and swordfish, the practice is strictly "catch and release" unless you have landed a trophy level fish. The seas are usually quite calm and lunch and beverages are provided. We can arrange the fishing trip of a lifetime for you.
