Construction
Building our condominium units has been an amazing process. We would like to thank
the many folks who made this project possible. They include the following in no particular
order;
- Gareth Adams of Rancho Construction, Nosara (506-682-0102). Gareth is a
transplanted Canadian Civil Engineer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, who also
fell in love with
Costa Rica and has developed a strong reputation for quality construction
on the Nicoya Peninsula. He has completed many "rescue" projects and we have
been delighted with his work, his input and cooperation.
- Thomas Burke, Attorney at Law and Notary Public, San Jose (506-236-8024). Thomas was most
instrumental and effective in setting up the corporation and helping us weave our
way through the myriad of official legal
requirements (federal, provincial, municipal, financial,etc.). As well, he helped us
manage the flow of funds for the construction effort.
Thomas is a highly respected senior legal talent in Costa Rica and often serves in
an official capacity for the federal government.
- Ana Catalina, Lawyer, Nicoya. Ana helped us immensely with many of the real estate challenges and securing municipal approvals. Ana is fluently bilingual and also serves as a regional judge in Nicoya.
- Eugenio Vargas of Eigenio Vargas Siviero - Engineer, San Jose who developed the official
approved construction
drawings and conducted the regular construction inspections.
- Eduardo Cespedes, Business Manager, Nosara Office Center, Nosara - guided us
through the many business process requirements needed to conduct business in Costa
Rica. Eduardo is also a strong ambassador for Nosara and a respected member of the
local business community.
- Rosevelt Noguara - Super Nosara Supermarket, Nosara - who left no stone unturned
to help us provision and complete the units. Always helpful and supportive, Rosevelt
is another ambassador for the region.
- Juan Roca, Nicoya and Thierry Von der Wied, Nosara of Roca Pools - designed and
built our fabulous swimming pool with the unique pattern on the tile. The Roca crew delivered on time and as per plan. Our thanks for a job well done.
We wish to thank the many local crafstmen and tradesmen for their
excellent skills, their dedication and hard work that was required to complete the project. Also,
we wish to thank the local retailers in Nosara and Nicoya for helping us complete
the fixturing and furnishing of the facilities. It is a pleasure to do business
in the region.
